Spatial Modeling of Infant Mortality in Kenya
Final year research applying Generalized Linear Modeling and Geographically Weighted Logistic Regression to model infant mortality across Kenya using the 2022 KDHS dataset. Incorporated LISA and Moran's I for spatial autocorrelation diagnostics.

Scraped and analyzed Facebook and Instagram data across African countries to identify patterns in COVID-19 communication strategies. Findings presented at an international Africa CDC webinar.

AI assistive navigation system for visually impaired students. Features real-time object detection, live OCR for reading classroom content, multilingual translation, and Braille-compatible outputs. Built for the STEM Hackathon for Persons with Disabilities.

Experience
Where the work happened.
Analyze sales and distribution data from the Distribution Management System (DMS). Build predictive models and dashboards to support commercial decisions. Advise leadership on data-driven strategy across the EABL distribution network.
Supported clinical research teams with healthcare analytics and patient outcome studies. Conducted EDA, statistical modeling, survival analysis, and managed REDCap data collection instruments. Built Excel reporting dashboards for weekly and monthly tracking.
Founded and led a training and consultancy platform focused on data science, statistics, and analytics across East Africa. Designed 10+ programs, mentored learners in Kenya, Nigeria, and Uganda, organized hackathons, and delivered statistical consulting for academic and industry clients.
Scraped and analyzed social media data from Facebook and Instagram across African countries. Performed EDA, statistical analysis, and presented findings at an international webinar on COVID-19 digital communication strategies.
