Mathew Shem
I am a Biostatistician and Data Scientist bridging clinical research, machine learning, and health systems analytics. Trained at JKUAT in Biostatistics with hands-on experience at KEMRI and Kenyatta National Hospital, I combine statistical rigor with modern AI tooling to build systems that answer hard questions in health, business, and beyond. Beyond the science, I lead StatQuestJourney Hub — a training and consultancy platform where I have designed over ten programs mentoring learners across Kenya, Nigeria, and Uganda in data science, analytics, and research methods. Outside work, I box, coach fitness, and chase horizons.
